About This Game:
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time NSP is a platform game in which the player primarily controls the main character, Crash, or his sister, Coco, and their mission is to save the Multiverse from the control of Dr. Neo Cortex and the villainous Tropico. The player can switch between controlling Crash and Coco at any time from the stage selection screen.[9][10] The game can be played in two different modes, which can be selected before starting a new game and changed at any time from the options menu.
The default mode is “Modern”; in this mode, the player character always returns to the last save point after losing. In the second mode, “Classic”, the player is given a limited number of lives (represented by a floating head of the currently active character), and additional lives can be collected throughout the stages. If the player loses their last life, the stage restarts from the beginning. The game’s difficulty level and reward progression are not affected by the choice of game mode.
During the main story stages, players control both Crash and Coco, who use the same Character movements, such as spinning and sliding. The stages also feature new moves added to the series, such as wall-running. The characters are also aided by special masks found throughout the story, which grant them superpowers. Each stage contains at least one mask to help overcome obstacles in specific sections. The mask appears before the player enters the stage and disappears upon completion.
